Jim entered Presidio Sport and Medicine July 11, 2001
in a wheelchair. Due to a fall, which required surgery
and the placement of hardware in his heels to stabilize
the fractures, he was unable to bear weight through
his legs for 2.5 months. As a result, he had significant
difficulty regaining his ability to walk once his fractures
had healed.
After months of hard work and perseverance Jim is now
able to walk at a normal pace -- up and down stairs
and hills. He has regained about 90% of his capabilities
prior to his accident and continues to get stronger.
Congratulations Jim on achieving your goals and for
continuing to aim high.
