PSM News
In one way or another, the staff members at PSM are active.
They continually strive to challenge themselves, like they do their patients, as well as be a part of a growing community of endurance athletes. In return, the staff at PSM gain a heightened sense of what the human body is physically capable of and how to heal it. Their athletic experiences play a great part in making PSM the high quality, innovative, physical therapy clinic it is today. Read on for some of their stories......

PSM at The Tiburon Triathlon, 2002
The 12th Annual Tiburon Triathlon at Belvedere Community Park was a success. Five relay teams, including staff and patients, for the ½ mile swim, 9-mile bike, and 2 mile run represented PSM. Congratulations to all the participants for a great race!

Chris at The Lake Placid Ironman, 2002

She said "I see people riding their bikes and I just wish I could ride a bike." . . . more on Julie's Ironman adventure >>
Susan at Vineman Triathlon, 2002
"Vineman was my second half-ironman distance triathlon, the first being Wildflower earlier this spring. Vineman was a great experience, I met my most important goals, which were to feel good during the race, enjoy the experience and to complete it. While doing this, I improved my time significantly over my Wildflower time! Some of the time difference is owed to a faster and flatter course. We were lucky to have fantastic weather for the race."
Steve Sakadales - English Channel Swim 2002
Swimming the English Channel is an abstract goal. It is fun to discuss the possibilities of completing such an event, but in reality it remains a near impossible task. How do you get your body ready to survive anywhere from 10-18 hours in sub 60 degree waters which tend to be rough and infested with stinging jellyfish?
